Check-In and Check-Out
CHECK IN is from 2PM. Please contact our reception team via enquiries@hazelwoodestate.com.au if you are planning on arriving earlier but please note access to your accommodation cannot be guaranteed until 2PM. Should you be arriving after office hours, please contact us on the morning of your arrival so we can arrange an out of hours arrival. CHECK OUT is 10AM. Late check-outs, if available, are $20 per hour after 11AM. Please note that this would need to be requested with reception after your arrival and cannot be guaranteed. However, you may use our facilities until 5PM on your day of departure.
Pets
We love animals great and small (especially the horses, koalas, wallabies and cows that reside on Hazelwood farm). However, pets are not permitted on the property. If you have an assistance dog or wish to discuss your circumstances with our team, please email enquiries@hazelwoodestate.com.au
Kids
Hazelwood is exclusive to guests aged 14 years and older. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. However, children and babies under 14 are welcome for lunch.
Hotel Change and Cancellation Fees
Subject to your refund and remedy rights under the Australian Consumer Law, the following change and cancellation fees apply to all bookings (including online bookings and bookings made over the phone, via chat by email or in-person): Date changes or booking cancellations to confirmed bookings within 14 days of arrival will incur a 100% amendment/cancellation fee.
COVID-19 Affected Hotel Bookings
Should travel restrictions be implemented by the government and travel across borders or intrastate be restricted, any booking cancellations or amendments made between 30 days and 4 days prior to arrival will be given a 12-month travel credit to use at the same retreat. If a cancellation or amendment is received within 72 hours prior to arrival, a 100% cancellation fee will apply. We do recommend travel insurance is taken by our guests for all retreat stays.

Please note there is no swimming pool available to guests at Hazelwood Estate. However, there are a number of swimming holes and waterfalls close by in Lamington National Park.
Room Occupancy
Our King Farm Cabins cater for a maximum of two adults and our Luxury Pavilions sleep up to four guests.
Drinking Water
Water is safe to drink straight from the tap. The retreat has over 600,000 litres of water storage onsite, with all water used being harvested rainwater
Saturday Two-Night Minimum
Saturday nights are subject to a two-night minimum.
Disability Access
Hazelwood offers wheelchair friendly access to the Club House and The Paddock restaurant as well as accessible bathrooms. Wheelchair accessible transportation is provided between accommodation and The Clubhouse. An Accessible King Farm Cabin is available and specially equipped for wheelchair access and convenience. Please select this room type upon booking.
Parking
Plentiful outdoor parking is available outside The Club House where our reception is located. Our friendly team will take you and your luggage to your room upon check-in. Undercover parking is not available. To avoid guest disturbance no parking is permitted beside our cabins.
The Paddock Restaurant Opening Hours & Bookings
The chef-hatted Paddock restaurant is open daily for in-house guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Reservations are also available for lunch and dinner for day visitors.  However, we are a gated and remote boutique property, so bookings are essential. Please contact our friendly team on enquiries@hazelwoodestate.com.au or reservations@hazelwoodestate.com.au to check availability and to receive your access code for the front gates. Lunch – 12pm to 3.30pm (seated by 2.30pm), Thursday to Sunday Dinner – 5.30pm to late (seated by 8pm), Wednesday to Sunday

We’re all about making sure you’re well-fed and happy so let us know if there are any dietary requirements we need to make note of when making a reservation at The Paddock or hotel.
Wagyu Tasting
We have not yet started offering the Wagyu Tasting Experience - it's still scheduled for late 2022, however the exact date is not yet determined. As soon as a date is set, we will be letting people know in our newsletter - you can sign up here. In the meantime, the chef-hatted Paddock restaurant features many Wagyu options.  We also have a number of gourmet experiences on offer including wine and cheese tasting, cocktail masterclasses and bespoke picnic hampers.
Getting to Hazelwood
You’ll find us at: 422 Binna Burra Road Beechmont, Queensland Australia, 4211   Driving Directions Update: Road Closure To avoid delays due to road closures in Lower Beechmont please plan to travel to Hazelwood via the Canungra (western) side of Beechmont Road, not the Advancetown (eastern) side. From the Nerang M1 exit, this alternative travel route is approximately 10km, and 9 minutes further with no current issues – up-to-date traffic and hazard information is available on the Transport & Main Roads From Brisbane Travel south along the Pacific Motorway (M1) or Mount Lindsay Highway to Canungra and follow the signs to Beechmont at the top of the range. Turn right at the roundabout at the Headmaster’s Cafe (Old School) onto Binna Burra Road. From Gold Coast (Coolangatta Airport) Travel north along the Pacific Motorway (M1), take the Nerang exit and follow the signs to Beechmont at the top of the range. Drive straight through the roundabout at the Headmaster’s Cafe (Old School) onto Binna Burra Road.   Transfers Making a day of it? Arrange a transfer through one of our recommended suppliers – Alpha Transfers or Murrays Coaches.

Smoking Policy
Hazelwood is 100% smoke-free including all cabins and pavilions, on decks and all public spaces. We ask those who smoke to be a minimum of three metres from the outside of the guests rooms and The Club House at all times. Failure to comply may result in a financial penalty. This also applies to e-cigarettes.
