Not long until the weekend... dreaming of the infinity pool overlooking the rolling green hills of Beechmont.
We built this wooden platform edging out over Lamington National Park a little over 18 months ago, as a place to pull up a chair and gaze across the valley, watching the changing light and cloud formations pass us by; a humbling reminder that the world is much bigger than any of us. Standing on this platform, we exchanged our wedding vows in front of our friends and family, and a few months later we shook hands with the heroic firefighters who saved us from the worst of the bushfires, whose flames passed right below, thankfully sparing it. Now we watch in wonder from it, as mother nature works her magic in restoring the rainforest to her former glory. It's once again a peaceful place to enjoy a cup of tea listening to the birds at first light, or to share a glass of wine as the sun goes down. It's a place where we feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude, a feeling we hope you will experience from this platform too.
