Welcome to Hazelwood Estate
Hazelwood Estate is a 75 acre polo and wagyu cattle farm, neighbouring World Heritage-listed Lamington National Park, in the Gold Coast Hinterland. Only 90 minutes drive from Brisbane and 45 minutes from the Gold Coast, on the way to Binna Burra, Hazelwood is the perfect destination for a country escape.
Polo & Paddocks
Hazelwood Estate is home to Hazelwood Polo and hosts social chukkas and exhibition games. We also fatten some of our Wagyu cattle herd in the luscious green hinterland pastures.
Luxury Accommodation
The luxuriously appointed Homestead & Guest House exude a modern, elegant country-style, with panoramic views across the picturesque hinterland plateau out to the coastline on one side, and views deep into the valleys of Lamington National Park on the other. We’re currently developing additional accommodation on the estate, opening 2021.
Activities
Bush walk through Lamington National Park at dawn, ride a horse along the escarpment at sunset, tour a local farm, enjoy spectacular hinterland and ocean views hang gliding, paragliding or on a helicopter tour, take part in one of the many workshops we host throughout the year, and more…
The Lamington Plateau
Hazelwood Estate sits on the edge of World Heritage-listed Lamington National Park atop the Lamington Plateau. The national park is home to the ancient Gondwana rainforest and is one Australia’s most spectacular natural wonders.
Future Development
Hazelwood Estate has been a labour of love for our family, and we hope to continue building (and living) this dream for many years to come. This year we are developing a dining establishment and cellar door (The Clubhouse), more accommodation (Pavilions & Cottages) and amenities (Day Spa).
