Calling all foodies and gourmands to the Scenic Rim for an unmissable culinary class against a backdrop of rolling green hills. In Hazelwood’s Estate’s Salumi Masterclass guests will learn the ancient craft of salumi in an intimate session led by CLEAVER Salumi Cabinets founder and salumi afficionado Dave Cann. In this hands-on class, you’ll discover the principles of making and curing salami and how to choose the right cuts and seasoning to make the best-tasting cured meats. The afternoon will conclude with a tasting and all guests will create their own salami for curing in the onsite CLEAVER Salumi Cabinet and ready to take home in six weeks. Extend the afternoon’s culinary delights with a journey through Australia’s premier wine regions in our Wine & Cheese Tasting. In the 30-minute tasting guests will enjoy a curated selection of premium Australian wines and local cheeses on the terrace as the sun sets on another beautiful day in the hinterland.
